Field Service Engineer

 We are currently hiring a Field Service Engineer.

Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to,
the following:

  • Provide onsite installation, validation and commissioning.

  • Perform hands-on onsite troubleshooting, service and repairs.

  • Provide high level technical support to external customers at their location.

  • Provide onsite training to the customers.

  • Interface with cross functional work teams such as field applications, customer support/services, product management, manufacturing and marketing/sales.

  • Develop Service technical documentation.

  • Create and maintain service information in the company enterprise database.

  • Timely and professionally handle field service calls and issues arising from the field service visits, triage with field applications scientists as appropriate.

  • Timely complete and submit all required paperwork.

  • Communicate with the customer to ensure satisfaction and implement any necessary corrective actions.

  • Miscellaneous other duties commensurate with the capabilities of a Field Service Engineer.

 

Skills Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical qualifications in electrical/ mechanical engineering.

  • Must be accurate and detailed, while working in a fast paced environment with multiple people / projects demanding attention and time.

  • Must be proficient in time management, in planning workload and specific tasks, and to achieve completion dates.

  • Proven track record of developing excellent customer relationships while acting independently to develop and execute customer solutions.

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges.

  • Travel required.
